Let's Celebrate

Friday 19 March 2027 – Sunday 21 March 2027

with love

Please join us for the wedding of Bianca Parry and Thomas Lewis.

Let's Celebrate

We’d love nothing more than to have you there.

celebrate with us

We would love nothing more than to have you there to celebrate with us.

We have chosen the beautiful Hepburn Shire region as the backdrop for our big day, a charming and leafy corner of Victoria known for its mineral springs, rolling hills, great food, and cosy feeling that felt perfect to us.

Whilst our wedding is on the Saturday, we will be complementing our big day with a weekend full of celebration. Whether you are joining us for the wedding on Saturday or making a full weekend of exploring Daylesford and surrounds from Friday, we are excited to share this moment with you.

Please take some time to explore this website. You will find everything you need to know about our wedding, the weekend’s activities, as well as some of our recommendations for Daylesford and Hepburn Springs — our favourite, tried and tested local spots to eat, drink and explore — plus accommodation options to make the most of your stay should you choose to kick your feet up for the weekend.

The Wedding of Bianca Parry and Thomas Lewis

Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm

350 Hepburn-Newstead Rd, Shepherds Flat, Victoria
Saturday, 20 March 2027 · 4.30pm arrival – 11.00pm finish

ArrivalOur ceremony will commence just after 5:00pm, but you should arrive at Lavandula Farm by 4:30pm — giving yourself plenty of time to find your feet, grab a drink, and catch up with familiar faces before we get to the good stuff.
Arriving at the weddingWe’ve arranged for a bus to pick up guests from the Daylesford Hotel and the Hepburn Bathhouse. The bus will run two trips — if you would like a seat on the bus, please let us know in your RSVP.
Dress codeThis wedding is formal. Fellas, this means you should look the part; dust off your suit and your sharps and leave your thongs at home (looking at you, Matt Lewis). Ladies: please keep doing what you do best.

One small note — Lavandula Farm is open to the public until 4:30pm, so you may arrive alongside a few unsuspecting lavender enthusiasts. But from 5:00pm sharp, the farm is all ours.

Our wedding will kick off with a ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour, and then a sit-down three-course dinner. Come hungry. Come thirsty. We mean it.

Accommodation

Stay a little longer

If you are going to stay the weekend, or even overnight, we have pre-vetted some local accommodation that looks mighty fine in Daylesford and surrounds.

Things to Do

Eat, drink, soak, wander

Daylesford runs 4–5°C cooler than Melbourne year-round.

Ducks have right of way. This is not a joke. Daylesford has a thriving duck population with absolutely no road sense, and locals will stop mid-street to let them pass, you should too. The wildlife doesn't end there: kangaroos have been spotted within 200 metres of the main shops, particularly around dusk and dawn, so keep your eyes open and your speed down on the back roads.

Speaking of roads, the route via the Calder Freeway and Woodend can develop serious potholes from time to time. The Western Highway via Ballan tends to hold up better.

Stocking Up

+
  • Tonna's Fruit & Veg — Don't be put off by its spot next to a petrol station; Tonna's is a genuine find. Great produce, better than it looks.
  • Blake Family Grocers — A well-stocked local grocer worth knowing about.
  • Winespeake Cellar + Deli — Part bottle shop, part deli, part neighbourhood bar. The outdoor area on a warm evening is hard to beat.
  • Both bottle shops in town are solid, and the local Coles is better than you'd expect.

Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries

+
  • Most of these serve food — some are full restaurants, others do cheese boards and light bites. A good afternoon can be built around any of them.
  • Passing Clouds — One of the region's best, with a full restaurant. Note it operates lunches Friday to Monday only, with no dinner service.
  • Captains Creek Organic Wines — A beautiful spot on a sunny day. Pull up a chair on the balcony with a cheese board and stay a while.
  • Attwoods Wines — Full restaurant in a lovely setting.
  • Hepburn Distillery — Worth a visit if you're into spirits.
  • Hepburn Springs Brewing Co. — Taproom with light food. Good beer.
  • Daylesford Cider — Full restaurant, and the cider is exactly what it sounds like.
  • Daylesford Wine Tours — Half or full-day guided tours by small bus if you'd rather let someone else do the driving. Highly recommended.

Cafes

+
  • Cliffy's Emporium — A Daylesford institution. Expect a queue on weekends, but it's worth it.
  • Cafe Lotte — Hepburn Springs' favourite, relaxed and lovely.
  • Wombat Hill House — Garden cafe set within the Botanical Gardens. A beautiful spot for a slow breakfast or lunch.

Restaurants — Special Occasion

+
  • Lakehouse — The benchmark for the region. Exceptional, but priced to match — worth it for a splurge.
  • The Surly Goat — Fixed menu, intimate, interesting.
  • Bar Merenda — Upstairs is a fixed degustation menu; downstairs does tapas. Both are great.
  • The Virgin Kitchen at Bellinzona — Book ahead.
  • The Argus Dining Room — Hepburn Springs. Elegant dining room with a bar and lounge.
  • Shizuka Ryokan — A Japanese-inspired spa and wellness retreat that also does wonderful food. Better treated as a full-weekend experience than just a dinner.
  • Sault — Set in a lavender farm about 5–10 minutes out of town. Romantic and worth the short drive.

Restaurants — More Relaxed

+
  • Taj Mahal — Reliable, well-regarded Indian. A local favourite.
  • Hepburn Pizza — Does the job well.
  • Rubens Restaurant — Casual and good.
  • The Daylesford Hotel / The Royal Daylesford Hotel — Both pubs serve food. The Daylesford Hotel is the more polished of the two, but both are comfortable options for a relaxed meal.
  • The Swiss Mountain Hotel, Blampied — A well-kept local secret about 10–15 minutes out of town. Well worth the detour.

Things to Do — Gentle

+
  • Lavandula — A Swiss-Italian lavender farm that's as beautiful as it sounds. Picnic-friendly, photogenic, genuinely lovely.
  • Lake Daylesford Circuit — An easy lakeside walk, perfect for stretching your legs after a long lunch.
  • Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens — Peaceful elevated gardens with sweeping views over the town.
  • Daylesford Sunday Market — Worth a wander if the weather cooperates. Can be quiet on cold or wet mornings, but on a good day it's a highlight.
  • Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa — Mineral springs bathing in a heritage bathhouse. Book ahead, particularly on weekends.
  • Shops on Vincent and Albert Streets — Independent boutiques, galleries, and homewares. Good for a browse.

Things to Do — Active

+
  • Hepburn Golf Club — A scenic nine-hole course in a beautiful setting.
  • Fishing — The region has several lakes well-stocked for a quiet afternoon with a line in the water.
  • Bushwalking — From easy to challenging. The Dry Diggings Track and the Sailors Creek Loop are both great starting points — and there are hundreds more. Ask us if you'd like recommendations.
  • Mountain Biking at Creswick — Genuinely world-class trails, about 20 minutes from Daylesford. A must for anyone who rides.
  • Dirt bike and 4WD tracks — The surrounding state forest has seemingly endless options for those with the right vehicle and the inclination.
